Blason
This is a family-owned estate located near the Slovenian border in the Isonzo region in a town called Gradisca d'Isonzo and is run by Giovanni Blason and his wife, Valentina. Three family generations of dedication and relentless improvement have created and renovated an agricultural tradition having reverence for its rural roots along with a blending of the most modern agronomic techniques to produce wines showcasing a fine expression of the land. It's no wonder Gambero Rosso has taken notice of the impeccable attention to the oenology displayed by this winery. "Giovanni Blason's modern operation stands on the red earth of the Isonzo DOC, where he is helped by family and competent collaborators. Quality continues to rise and the wines are all elegant, juiciness and varietal typicity. The reds are easy drinkers and the refreshing whites pack a punch."
