Puglia

Puglia

The region Apulia or Puglia, is the heel of the Italian boot. The northern terrain is rolling to hilly, the south consist of a flat peninsula quite hot but moderated by breezes from the Adriatic and Ionian seas. Bari is the capital. Other provinces include Brindisi, Foggia, and Tranto. Puglia has become noticed recently as attention has gone to the South to historical varieties and good values. We have some excellent wines from Puglia!
