Mastrodomenico

The Mastrodomenico's have 20 acres of vineyard on which they grow Aglianico del Vulture. Giuseppe and Emanuella are now the fifth generation to grow grapes and make wine. The winery is carved into the rock to make an excellent cellar. Vulture is an ancient Volcano that has rich soils that with a long growing season is perfect for the Aglianico grape. The wine has structure, fruit and tannins enabling it to be one of the longest aging wines in the world.

With a broad and complex bouquet, Likos is a richly textured wine and with a firm tannic structure. On the palate it is initially dry heat, and then intense and aromatic with delicate cherry and berry notes. The aroma is persistent and ends with a lovely note of liquorice. Learn More
