Aurora

The twenty-one acres of Aurora's vineyards are located in Offida in the province of Ascoli Piceno, located in the Marche region of Central Italy. It was originally encompassed in the Rosso Piceno DOC, but finally received its own classification in 2001 bringing the once "anonymous wines" out of hiding and into the limelight. This small-production winery is conducted with the techniques and methods of organic farming and boasts impressive wines, some which have received the coveted "tre bicchieri" rating by Gambero Rosso. As to their wines their line is always reliable. Federico Pignati, who directs wine making, has homed his approach over the years and does an expert job with natural fermentation of Aurora's organically farmed grapes."
