Obtained from Nebbiolo grapes, locally named “Chiavennasca”. This wine is a tribute to the grandfather Piero, who many years ago had this wine in the cellar of his hut in Val Belviso at 1380 mt. , with the idea to taste it in spring. It’s a fragrant, tasty wine to drink also a little fresh, with ideal flavor, and suggest to accompany traditional local dishes or the brown trout that he loved to fish in natural lakes, up to an altitude of 2600 meters

Aging

12 months in oak barrels, then in stainless steel tanks.

Organoleptic features

bright ruby red color, that with aging tends to garnet. Vinous and pleasant scent. Soft, harmonious, and slightly tannic flavor with a background of wild berries.
