Etna Rosso, by Al Cantara Winery , 2014 Lu Veru Piaciri
Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio are the grape varieties that give life to the Etna Rosso DOC. The vineyard is located on the volcano Etna, at an altitude of 650m
The hand-picked grapes are fermented in stainless steel tanks and aged in oak barriques for 3 months. The volcanic soil, rich in minerals, gives the unique flavor to this deep ruby red wine.
The nose perceives notes of berries, spices the mouth it is smooth, fresh and persistent. Soft tannins lead to a pleasant sapidity.
The name means The True Taste or the Pleasure of Taste
Note the Other Etna Rosso O' Suru O' Suru is the same blend however more Nerello Cappuccio
and less oak aging
