Van Ruiten Family Vineyards Old Vine Zinfandel, Lodi 2013
This 2013 Zinfandel has aromas of cherry, plum, bramble fruit, and black pepper. Flavors of cranberry, anise, cherry, spice, and vanilla. This wine has intense fruit avors with good structure and soft tannins. The nish lingers with pleasant spice notes. These hand picked grapes hail from the original vines that John Van Ruiten Sr. planted in 1952.
