Brio Toscano Rosso, 2019, Castello Romitorio,
The Brio is produced using the youngest Sangiovese from our vineyards in Tuscany and expresses the best aspects of young Sangiovese.
100% Sangiovese
The wine is aged for several months in large oak casks and bottled approximately six months before release.
Classic bright ruby red Sangiovese. The nose presents notes of flint, rose, black currant. On the palate, the wine possesses elegant tannins which are perfectly balanced and integrated with the structure. This wine vibrates with energy and lingers demonstrating how even young Sangiovese can express silky depth yet maintaining its rustic Tuscan character.
