One of the Elite Brunellos of Montalcino
Only 4 Hectare of Vineyards, 6,500 Vines per Hectare. High Elevation
James Suckling 93 Pts A firm, chewy red with cherry and black-cherry aromas, as well as undertones of dried flowers and cedar. It’s full-bodied and very powerful with the wood showing a little now, but will come out nicely with bottle age.
Donna Olga is at the highest elevation on the Mountain. It is very densely planted so each vine yields very little giving the wine more density. This wine itself is worth $100.00. I believe that there is not a Brunello better!
