WINE ENTHUSIAST

95/100

La Pieve 2017- This delicious, elegantly structured red opens with classic Sangiovese aromas of blue flowers, ripe red berries, new leather and forest floor. The smooth, velvety palate delivers mature Marasca cherry, raspberry compote, baking spice and licorice alongside polished tannins. It's already drinking beautifully but will also offer several years of enjoyment. Drink through 2027.
