Quater Vitis Rosso encloses Sicily of wine in a glass and is a blend of grapes of Nero d' Avola, Perricone and Frappato bred on the estate of Pianoro Cuddìa while, the Nerello Cappuccio is bred in the Cavanera Estate at about 680 m.s.l. on Etna. It comes from four different vintages and as many winemakings performed separately to enhance the peculiarities of each individual variety. The aging of each individual wine takes place in American oak barrels and French, for a maximum period of 10 months. The different types of wood bring boisé notes. The best cuvées you get are assembled to give life to this wine that harmoniously enhances the hints of red fruit of Nero d'Avola, the freshness of Frappato, the spicy notes of the Nerello Cappuccio and the elegance of Perricone.
The Quater Vitis Rosso is softer and rounder than the more rustic Santagostino Rosso
Both are excellent however different as they should be
