Tinazzi Generation celebrates the family with a special selection of premium wines from Veneto – Amarone della Valpolicella and Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore – and from Puglia.
Grapes: 80% Corvina, 10% Corvinone, 10% Rondinella
Vineyards: Selected vineyard in Valpolicella at 150 - 300 elevation.
Vinification: Soft crushing and destemming followed by fermentation and maceration at 20 - 24°C. Gentle pressing. The obtained wine is "passed again" at the end of December on the skins of Amarone.
Maturation: In French and American 5 hl oak barrels for 12 months
Color: Deep red with light garnet hues with ageing
Aromas: Strong concentration of fruit and spices
Taste: Pleasant notes of ripe fruit, combined with notes of warm spices and vanilla. Deep ruby hue with garnet edges. Aromas of cherries and plum jam, intertwined with liquorice. On the palate: plush fruit core, followed by soft tannins that give pleasantness refined tannins, vibrant acidity and a long, seductive finish of dark chocolate and tobacco.
Alcohol: 15%, Acidity 5.95g/per liter, Residual sugar 2.8 g/per liter
