Dark red cherry, plum, graphite, smoke, and tobacco are some of the signatures. 2019 is layered and deeply expressive throughout. Sweet herbs, sage, tobacco, and earthy notes add nuance to the ferrous, savory finish. It would be great to see all the Petra wines at this level.
