This Etna Rosso drinks like the finest Pinot Noir. It's definitely one of my favorite wines, period! You guys at "WFI" can confirm, but I always order a bottle or two when placing an order.
I have a dinner for friends every Wednesday evening. Usually it is an Italian menu. Everyone loves the wine.

We use a lot of evoo in our food preparations. This oil is very nice with a nice peppery bite which we look for in evoo. Nice color and smooth taste. Also nice just on Italian bread pastas etc…

When I visited Naples I was charmed by the local wines in the area from Vesuvius. Lacryma Christi and Piedirosso really stood out to me. The taste was smooth, dry, with fruit notes and a beautiful acidity I relate to things grown in a volcanic area. Ever since being back I’ve been obsessed with finding these wines. My joy in finding a supply here is hard to express. I feel this is among the best from those local grapes. I will be buying more. You might have a hard time drinking other wines after this.

Excellent selection of Sicilian red wines. The Judeka Vittoria Frappato was a very nice surprise. It reminded me of a nice, balanced pinot noir. I must say that while Italy is my favorite place for wine, I have developed an affection for wines particularly from Sicily.

Very different but pleasant, strong and dry. The fruit notes I get off this with the refinement is really hard to beat. It’s unlike anything I’ve had. I’ll be buying again shortly. Probably looks terrible to be ordering again so soon….but wow

This special Gavi has it all. It’s complex a bit dry and tasty enough to have every day. Great with seafood chicken and even bolognese. So happy to have found this one

So I didn’t know what to expect. I appreciate wine for the historical aspect as well as the taste. This wine needs no justification. It’s really good. Personally I got fruity notes at the beginning a cherry, raspberry if you will but not overly sweet finish. It has good body. Not overpowering but different from what I had experienced in Sangiovese. I would order this again and serve to my friends without hesitation. It’s unique and while I don’t have the most developed sense of taste amazingly pleasant, smooth and honestly unforgettable. Highly recommend and will order more.
We actually just got back from this region of Italy and had a bottle or 2 while there and tracked it down in the US.
