This is the highest level of Lacryma Christi Red that I have ever tasted.
It's aged 6 months in a French Barrique.
Lacryma Christi means "The Tears of Christ". Grown only on Mt. Vesuvius, the Rosso is a blend of Piedirosso and Aglianico grapes. Very complex with excellent structure.
Piedirosso grapes are only grown on Mt Vesuvius.
"This is it." - Ciao Daniel
When Jesus was ascending to heaven, he glanced down at the earth and saw the Bay of Naples. It was so beautiful that he wept tears of joy. His tears fell on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius and a grape vine grew. We now have wine from those vines, Lacryma Christi.
