Etna Bianco, 2018 Luci Luci by Al Cantara
Luci Luci is a white Etna DOC produced from grapes of Carricante. The grapes are grown in a valley between Mount Etna and the Nebrodi Mountains, at an altitude of 650 meters asl. The land is rich in minerals, the soil ash-coloured and fine is rich in structure. The harvest takes place around mid-October. The grapes are harvested by hand into small trays and afterwards they go into soft pressing without stripping. The must is decanted for 48 hours and subsequently fermented in stainless steel tanks at 14 ° C for about 12 days. The wine is then decanted at least twice to eliminate the coarser lees and then begins the malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks where it remains for 12 months.
